Product Description

With a sleek aluminum body, a live home screen that streams all of your favorite content, a photo gallery that comes to life, and dual frontal stereo speakers, HTC One is ready to reshape your smartphone experience. *Color selection may vary based on availability.

Capturing a moment takes more than one image. That’s why the new HTC One includes the HTC UltraPixel Camera. Press the shutter and the HTC One automatically captures up to 20 photos and a 3-second video—a picture that’s alive. So your entire photo album becomes a living, breathing gallery.

Light. It’s what separates a snapshot from a picture. And when you capture 300% more light with the new HTC One’s super-sensitive camera, taking an amazing picture is that much easier. The HTC One delivers a dramatic increase in photo quality: more clarity, contrast and detail.

On the average smartphone, sharing music or a video with friends is a frustrating experience. A tiny speaker will tame even the most ferocious track. But the new HTC One's BoomSound changes all that. Dual frontal stereo speakers powered by built-in amplifiers deliver bigger sound with less distortion and more detail.

With HTC BlinkFeed, simply pick the social networks, news and feeds you want to stay updated on and they'll all stream live to your home screen. The pulse of your world is in the palm of your hand.

I received this phone in a timely manner. I set it up with no problems and it worked great....until I tried using google maps and another traffic related app. The GPS was not working. I tried everything to fix it, assuming it was an easy fix and I was just having a "duh" moment. I even took it to AT&T to have them look at it. No one could figure it out. So I contacted the seller to return it. Granted, this was after more than 10 days, so I guess he had a reason to be p.o'd, but I wasn't about to waste $165 on something I wasn't happy with...Every interaction I had with the seller was unpleasant. When I FINALLY got a return slip and mailed it back, the seller told me he would only refund $130 back to me. Ugh. It is frustrating, but I will just cut my losses and be happy to not have to deal with the b.s. anymore....

I've been using the HTC One m7 two or three months now and am still exploring the features. (It's my first smart phone.) I was afraid it would be too big to fit in my pockets, but even with a case it fits, barely. It is quite smooth and I thought it might slip out without a case, If your pockets are small, you'll need to find another way to keep it with you. It does fit comfortably in my hand, and my hands are probably average for a woman, but I probably won't be using it one-handed very much. On the other hand, the larger screen is easier for me to see than a smaller phone.

Love the blue color. The screen is bright and clear, but I have found that even in its' brightest mode it's unreadable in bright sunlight. I have to get in my car or other source of shade to use it. This is particularly annoying when trying to take pictures outdoors. Sometimes I can't see what I'm pointing at. Other than that, I find that I can read text and recognize icons more readily than on my old cell, due to better definition. The HTC's sound is sharp and clear. My hearing is less than perfect and there are a couple of people I always had trouble understanding with my very old cell phone, or even in person. I've talked to both of those people this week and had no problem. There is a setting that boosts incoming volume for hearing aid users. I will probably disable that because volume is now so loud I have to hold the phone away from my ear.

I had been using my Kindle Paperwhite to keep shopping lists, which meant I carried it everywhere, and also carrying a paper calendar for appointments etc. Now I have shopping, to do lists, calendar, contacts, maps, turn by turn voice directions (with Google maps), everything I need on one small device: my new, beautiful HTC One. And as much as I love my Kindle eReader, I like being able to pick up my reading away from home without toting it everywhere. The HTC provides a very satisfactory reading experience with Amazon's Kindle for Android app. It even knows where I left off.

I need to add that the seller did not specify which HTC One model. I thought, for what I paid, I was receiving the the most recent, the m8. After the protective cover I ordered didn't fit, I did some research on the specs and found they had sent an m7. A complaint to the seller got a snippy reply that, as it is an unlocked phone, they can't bother to keep track of which models they are buying and reselling. Since the specs for the camera, which differentiates the two models, were listed, I think they knew exactly which model they were advertising. I probably won't be ordering from Breed again. If you are ordering an HTC One, be forewarned that there are many models. If the seller doesn't specify, you can look at specifications, like for the camera, to determine which it is. It's a lot of work that shouldn't be necessary, and if all the specs are not in the ad, you could be getting any model.

Since it is about 1/2 inch longer than the m7, the m8 might not have fit in my pocket. So I'm not sorry I got the m7, I just think that sellers should be clear.

This cell phone came to me blocked, and with a lot of scratches and with problems in the charging pin, it is not worth buying, I feel cheated and disappointed.

Phone works good but won't update and roughly 3-4 weeks after receiving it the camera stopped working, the application closes by itself.
