I actually bought two of these fans since I live in a 2nd floor apartment, It is always hot in here in the summer. I use one in my bedroom, one in the living room and they have helped to cool it off. I like they come with a remote don't have to stop what I'm doing to go adjust the fans. I keep one remote on my night stand so easy to use.

Had one of these a few years ago and it was great then. Needed a new fan and found that they were still available. They take up about 1 square foot of space and can move a lot of air. The timer does work, haven't messed with the temp function. It will filter dust out of the air so it does need to be cleaned (vacuumed) every so often and that is a 30 second job, if that. The back snaps off and back on again. I do it one handed. The noise level is low, just the sound of moving air but zero motor sound. Had my last one for 8-9 years and moved and left it and as far as I know it's still going. Remote works well also.

I purchased three of these for different rooms and they really push a lot of air. The "low" setting is still pretty high, and probably a little noisy but I like the sound when I sleep. The high setting isn't quite as fast as my shop fans but they'll definitely push a lot of air. The thermostat feature is a nice touch as well. Note that they don't cool the air but they can be turned off automatically.

The only oddity is the "breeze" mode, where the fan switches between two speeds (or low and off) in a pattern. I'm still not sure if I like that mode or not but I could see where it would be useful.

With the stand extension attached, the fan is a bit wobbly but it doesn't seem to be a tipping danger if you're not pushing on it a lot. Maybe avoid the stand extension if small children will be near it so they don't knock it down.

Over all, great fan!

This is a really nice fan - it’s just not what I was looking for. I need a tower fan that is QUIET. It will be 3 feet from me as I sleep and I don’t need rushing air, more like a gentle breeze. This fan gives off pretty powerful air movement even at the lowest speed. Great for living room, not for a small bedroom.

Other things to note, assembly was easy though the instructions missed a major step of attaching the extender to the base. The remote control is a good size but hard to reattach to the top of the fan (there’s a slot for it but it’s not easily placed or removed). Also the “breeze” function is actually just a increase and decrease in speed every few seconds. If your speed is set on low, then you can push the breeze button and the fan will just turn off and on every 5 seconds which is really weird. If your speed is medium, the breeze button will make the speed alternate between medium and low. This feature is pretty useless to me. Lastly, I would like a fan to turn on at the same speed I set it to last. This fan resets to High every time you turn it on. Think middle of the night fumbling for the remote to turn it down...Every night...

I’m exchanging this for the Honeywell QuietSet tower fan. Pretty sure it will be more my “low” speed.

Such a great fan! Powerful and quiet. I love the features and the remote makes it easy to turn the fan up or down while in bed. The stand is a littler wobbly, however the instructions did warn against that. I've had the fan for a few months now and it's working just a good as it did the first day. The filter makes it incredibly easy to clean to dust of the fan. All I do is rinse it off in the shower and let it dry before I put it back on. I just wish the base assembly was a little simpler and used metal screws instead of the plastic ones.

I am pleasantly surprised by this great fan. It's an amazing deal for the money. I was looking for a fan with a filter and this one had it. It does everything I was hoping for, plus one added bonus. I can set a comfortable temperature and the thermostat in the unit will shut the unit down and start it up again to keep that temp. It doesn't chill the air like AC, but it's nice to have such a smart fan. It came very quickly and was easy to assemble. It's a little bit louder than my previous fan, but it's worth the trade off for the upgraded features. I recommend this unit.

Thankfully I was issued a refund before I received it due to it taking so long, so I can’t complain about the missing parts. Just got this fan from the Treasure Truck and immediately started assembly. The following notes/tips are based on the poor tolerances of MY fan - yours may be better: (1) The base is in two pieces which supposedly pop right together. Mine required some force to get the pieces to actually settle at the same height. I put the base down on a firm, flat surface and put pressure over the tabs until it aligned. (2) The arrows on my fan were not at the correct alignment location. I guess the "arrow application expert" had a rough night the night before and misaligned the arrows. Again, yours may line up - mine didn't. (3) When I figured out the arrow error and rotated the base so that the tabs would actually align, it was difficult to get the tabs to catch since rotating the base rotates the entire mechanism to which it is supposed to be affixed. I resolved that by using a small-bladed flat head screwdriver and GENTLY prying between the back of the tabs and the plastic on the base (you will see what I mean) until I could see that the hole for the set screw lined up with the hole in the base.

Once assembled, the thing worked fine. After using this fan for months, I have to say that the noise level is almost unacceptable. It is much louder than I had anticipated - even at its lowest speed - but it does move a fair amount of air. I just don't like the noisy fan in what is otherwise a reasonably quiet room.
