Pros:
-Powerful enough for a budget gaming CPU.
-Awesomely responsive when paired with an SSD and DDR3 1600 RAM. Boots in 15 seconds in Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
-Better integrated graphics than the previous generation CPUs.
-Faster memory controller than the 3220 which only supports DDR1333. This supports DDR3 1600. Yes, it makes a noticeable difference.

Cons:
No "legitimate" cons considering the price point.
Doesn't really overclock
Higher wattage/ heat than with the previous generation Ivy Bridge due to the voltage regulators being added to the CPU (previously on the motherboards) but this is only a slight increase in voltage and temps over my Ivy bridge Pentium.

Other thoughts:
I tried this out in 2 different systems, trying to figure what I wanted to do with it.
System 1) Budget gaming PC: I originally paired this with my old Nvidia GTX460 and 8GB of dual channel DDR3 1600 RAM with 8-8-8-21 latencies for a second gaming computer. This processor was able to keep up with my GTX 460 graphics card, which is still quite a respectable gaming card, without any problems or bottlenecking. This was able to play Crysis2, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Skyrim, and other titles on high/ ultra graphics settings without any noticeable lags or stutters. I believe the key is that my budget build utilized the full potential of this chip's fast memory controller. Consoles like the Xbox One and PS4 utilize MUCH weaker CPU's than this one and get away with it because of the fast memory controllers and large memory bandwidths inherent to their architectures. This little CPU has a fast memory controller and when paired with low-latency DDR3 modules, essentially this little CPU performs as though it was given an overclock. I am really not a hardcore gamer (more of an enthusiast) and if I didn't already have an i7-2600K based gaming rig, I'd be happy with this as my only gaming rig in a heartbeat.

System2) I paired this with just 2 x2GB of DDR3 1600 and my old 40GB Intel SSD (first generation) and tried out my new MicroATX HTPC build, I was shocked at how responsive this was. The Integrated graphics and the ridiculous speed/ responsiveness of this thing in everyday tasks made me realize that for a non-gaming HTPC this processor was amazing by itself. I watch 1080p video, and even do some light gaming (old EA sports titles and strategy games) and this thing never disappoints. The integrated graphics sort of fall into that "good enough" category where if you just want to watch movies, this is overkill, but if you want to play some strategy games from your online Steam Library, you can do it without a dedicated GPU. I even played League of Legends without a Video card. It worked just fine.

I bought this CPU to build a HTPC using a mini-itx motherboard.
Its main task is to stream online media and play HD movies.
This CPU performs these tasks flawlessly as well as other
basic daily computing functions such as web-browsing and picture viewing.
I don't play games with this CPU since I know that's not what this processor is designed for.

Paired with 4GB of DDR3 1600 memory and a Samsung SSD (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E3W15P0/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_7),
my HTPC boots into Win 7 Ultimate faster than my main computer with FX-6200(3.6GHz, six core), 8GB of memory,
and the same SSD but it's probably because I have a lot more programs installed in my main rig.

This is an excellent CPU for everyday computing, and it runs Win 7 Ult without a problem with only 4GB of RAM.

Update: 04-05-2014 Had this bout a month now and...
For Gamers or Business-Professionals.
Buy it and Love it!
Bought this with a new B85M-P33 MSi Military Motherboard
and it's been amazing. Using Video Card MSi R7770Ghz Edition,
combined with a 1 TB Seagate Barracuda 6gbps HDD,
6GB Total Corsair Ram XMS Platinum Series, with
Power Supply -Cooler Master 500w Extreme Power Plus.
Pulling 85 plus fps on BF4[mantle/direct3d11]. No lag.

Summary: excellent CPU to own. Heating stays 37 idle on my setup.
-pushes to 50 to 65 gaming.
kickass for a new dual core.

This cpu will perform CAD,Photoshop and Blue-ray Movies with ease.
Plus intense gaming if paired with a decent mediocre to high end video
card as I have. I will get an i-3 soon though but for a budget cpu you can
not go wrong at all with this amazing Intel Haswell CPU.
This cpu will take 1600mhz ram memory also.
Highly Recommend this CPU.

*Update: 08-03-2014* -No problems at all. Flawless Superior Performance!

This CPU is amazing for the money. If you use your computer for work and general desktop usage it will be great for you, even mild gaming works fine (but runs at 100% CPU). I use this in my work computer and keep photoshop, outlook, firefox, skype, and a handful more apps running and it never goes above 50% CPU unless I'm really working on something in photoshop. For the money this is an amazing CPU.

NOTE: This is not an i7, and shouldn't be compared to one... if you want to play games, and play them at their best then go i5 or i7, the same is true for video editing, and other intensive applications. If you want a work computer, a kids computer this CPU rocks!

This is a great processor for the money! I bought this for my first computer build which was intended to be a budget gaming PC. I bought this over the i3 because for half the money this thing almost performs the exact same on bench mark test. I ran this CPU with out a graphics card just to see what it could do, it was amazing! I could run games like "payday the heist", "age of empires" and "garrys mod" on medium to high settings! I also could easily stream 720p video on YouTube! Buy this processor you wont be sorry.

For my system I need the Linux Intel video driver 2.20, but I can only use 2.19, which is a problem for the video. Hopefully the next major release of Debian (Jessie) includes >2.19.
I'm happy with the dollar/value. Great buy for a budget build.

(Minecraft)

Minecraft(1.7.4
