Love it! Comfortable, easy to type, and tangle-free!
Initial review: 8/12/2014Updated review: Planning on doing it on September 4th since it will be my One Month Anniversary with this keyboard haha.Note: Video is resized for easier uploading to Amazon. This is an initial review because I am so in love with this keyboard that so I can't wait to share! I am reminded of the Chinese saying, "the old has to go for the new to come". My ex-favorite keyboard is Logitech Washable Keyboard K310, until I washed it (Link: http://amzn.to/1lsPJ6J). Put the frustration aside, I am completely in love with this keyboard! It types just comfortable as my previous keyboard, if not better. And it has this really comfortable cushion that I absolutely adore! Below is a list of the pros and cons of this keyboard. Switching from flat design to a curve design was a breeze. Didn't take me long to get used to it :D I just need more time to get used to the function keys since I always ended up pressing F1 instead of F2 ^o^Pros:Super comfortable cushion! The palm rest is absolutely amazing. I feel like I can type all day long haha (I just don't have anyone to chat all day with for me to type all day long -_-). I am slightly worried about how long this cushion will last till it becomes super dirty and/or becomes not as comfortable, but for now let me just enjoy the keyboard!Love the extra shortcut keysEspecially the mute button. My boyfriend gets calls all the time, so it is handy for me to instantly pause the audio for whatever drama/anime that I am watching at the time.Storage slot for the Unifying receiverThere is no such storage in the keyboard, but there is the storage slot in the mouse. Since the Unifying receiver is TINY, it is really good that the keyboard has a slot so I don't lose it in case of transporting. My hands are small, but these Unifying receiver still can get lost very easily with my tiny hands! Two different adjustable angles for the keyboard heightTypically you only get only angle adjustment from a keyboard, but this one has two different angles that you can adjust! One is 4 degree and the other one is 8 degree. Sweet, isn't it? Though this function does not matter to me since I almost always use my keyboard flat, but hey, at least it is there if I need it.Battery indicatorFunction key + F11 turns on battery LED indicator.Battery included! It is always nice not have to run out and buy battery just to test the keyboard to make sure it has arrived in a working condition.Cons:The only thing I can think of is that it is much bigger than the regular keyboard due to the cushion, so if you are a fine diner who dines in front of your computer and you have a messy desk (cough, like me), then finding a place to rest this keyboard can be a slightly more painful than the smaller ones.Standard size mouseWhoa, what? Why would this be a con? It is a con for me because I am used to the smaller wireless mouse from Logitech. Plus, I have tiny hands so a smaller mouse is easier and more comfortable for me. In the end I am getting used to it so it is all good.Video InformationFilmed: Panasonic Lumix ZS20 http://amzn.to/1iPMA6jMusic: Stomping Ground by Silent PartnerVideo is resized for easier uploading to Amazon.

I bought this keyboard to replace the non-wave, non-ergonometric keyboard that came with my HP desktop. I have used similar Logitech keyboards in the past and have been using a Logitech optical mouse with the HP keyboard. When I saw this product, which ships a mouse with the keyboard, I was please to purchase it.

The keyboard is full-size. It is embedded in a case that is deeper than the HP because it includes a wider, more comfortable wrist rest. This is covered in a pleasantly tactile dimpled material and works very well for me--with somewhat small hands for a man. The ergonometrics include a qwerty keyboard where the keys are set in a wave of changes in elevation to reflect the longer length of one's middle finger while providing for the reaching distance between lines of keys. There is a moderate arc to the set of the keys that is not as extreme as the true ergo board, which is more of a vee-shape. Keys operate with a springy, positive action, requiring a definite touch and not being too sensitive. The result is a board that is easy and comfortable to use, as I do, for serious spells of writing. There are twelve programmable function keys and clear instructions for setting them up plus buttons for 'insert', 'print screen', pause/break and rocking controls to zoom in and out on pages. The top edge of the board has a tilted panel with sound and track controls and is optimized to work with Windows Media Center. A single button brings up a calculator. There are other buttons I am less likely to use and have not investigated. One of them brings up Windows desktop gadgets or settings and another opens Windows Photo Gallery. A large button off the keyboard near the shift and control keys permits application switching for users having 'SetPoint' software.

I have always liked Logitech's optical mouse. They have improved its wireless transmitter, making it a small, rectangular plug-in module, that takes up next to no room on a desk or work table; transmits signals very well and stays out of the way. My earlier version was embedded in a round case about three inches in diameter and got in the way from time to time. Logitech calls this new device a 'Unifying Receiver' and explains it a bit on page 14 of the Operator's Manual. Basically, this is a plug-in and forget it type of device. The mouse is made of quality materials and feels good in the hand.

The users at our house--my wife and our grandchildren included--really like this package!

I received this keyboard / mouse combo as a replacement for a similar device I have had for a long time (much older version - that gave up after almost 8 years of daily usage). I received it very well packaged. However, the small USB connector (to plug in the computer) was not very visible. I had to look for it inside the package, so I would pay attention to not loose it.

Setting it up took 10 seconds. I plugged the connector onto a USB port in my computer, removed the plastic sticker that ensure the batteries did not drain from both the keyboard and the mouse and I started enjoying my keyboard.

The keyboard is very ergonomic. It has a pad to ensure you do not get carpal tunnel syndrome. The mouse is big enough to ensure the same, but it is light and does not drag on the mouse pad (it slides easy). The keyboard also seats at 3 different angles. Flat, medium or high angle, due to 2 different size of legs (see picture).

I know I have heavy fingers, so this keyboard is good for people that type hard as the keys are sturdy but still quiet.

This is probably the 4 or 5th time I buy the same keyboard (I have the same in my office at work and in my second computer). It makes it easy to move from one computer to the other without having to re-adapt to a new keyboard.

The battery life is also quite reasonable. It lasts so long that I never know when was the last time I changed the batteries (well over 1 year).

I like it very much and I recommend it.

I purchased this Keyboard/Mouse combo years ago to use for my setup at home. I fell in love with it almost instantly. The curve of the keyboard is comfortable and not overbearing like you see with some ergonomic keyboards. It has a gentle wave in it that flows nicely with your hands. I ended up purchasing a set for work and have been much happier with all the typing I have to do.

They function keys are nice. I don't use all of them, mainly the volume controls. I do wish it had a volume control like the logitech keyboard this replaced which was a dial as I feel that has more control than a button but it works well so no complaints. The only annoyance I have with the keyboard is the NUM LOCK key which I keep hitting for some reason when using the number pad. Minor gripe, and probably just me.

So the mouse.... I love it. I like a heavy mouse. Not everyone does but I do. This mouse takes 2 AA size batteries and it lasts 4-6 months on a set even in an office setting so that is nice. I don't turn it off either, it just goes to sleep.

Another thing I like about the mouse is the function buttons on the side. I originally bought the set to use with gaming. I like the function button on the side to use as a "push-to-speak" button. It was hard to find a comfortable mouse that had that feature on it. Again, the Logitech mouse this set replaced had that feature so I searched a long time to find a mouse that had it.

This is a great all-around keyboard and mouse combo. The price of the two together is great for the quality you get. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a general do everything set. Can you game with it? Yeah. Its not pro status but it works well. Can you type all day on it? Yep and you don't get strain as easy thanks to the key design and the built in palm rest.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended, especially if you are a touch typist!
Reviewed in Canada on May 30, 2017
I purchased this set as a replacement for an equivalent Microsoft set on which the mouse had died, and could not be replaced, as that set's receiver is permanently paired with only one mouse and only one keyboard (bah!). Logitech, on the other hand, allows replacing either, and also allows more than two devices to be paired with one receiver, or for that matter, keyboards and mice to be paired with more than one receiver. I can see some utility in that, as it would allow me to control my laptop, which already has a Logitech receiver and mouse, to be controlled from this set (especially the much better keyboard than that on the computer).
The set arrived promptly, in fact one day earlier than originally promised.
Setup was easy, and everything worked straight out of the box; additional software, with extra functionality, such as redefining mouse buttons and keyboard buttons was quickly downloadable from Logitech, as were plug-ins for my web browsers that enable "smooth" scrolling - which seems to be a pixel line at a time, rather than a character line at a time - a nice visual effect.
The mouse is nicely shaped, at least for my hand, and the buttons fall nicely under the appropriate fingers. Cursor control is smooth and precise. There is an on/off switch on both mouse and keyboard bottoms; I have not used them, and so far the keyboard is functioning normally, but the mouse batteries died rather quickly. I am now testing the time the second set lasts, to see if it is necessary to turn off the units when not in use.
One rather "interesting" thing happened with one of the "hot" buttons on the keyboard. Out of the box, they all operate more or less as expected (and you may want to configure some of them differently) but the "PC Power" button (top right of keyboard), configured to "Sleep" but my machine into an endless cycle of shut-down, restart, password entry, shut-down, ... that required a hard power down to get out of. Your milage of course may vary, but it might be worth disabling this button, or experimenting, carefully, to make sure it does what you need.
Physically, the keyboard is amazing. the "wave" form, with keys not only curved in a flat plane, but curved vertically as well, to fit the natural curve of fingers, once you are used to it, makes touch typing very much less tiring, and faster. Also, there do not seem to be the latency problem that I experienced with the Microsoft keyboard, which dropped letters id one typed faster than some limiting keystroke rate. So far, I have not been able to type fast enough to cause dropped letters. Of course if you are a one-finger, hunt-and-peck typist, this physical configuration and ability to handle fast typing will not matter.
