the Shield is fine, clear with great color=none of its' own. but was the wrong size. I bought " Fire Tablet with Alexa, 7" Display, 8 GB, Black - with Special Offers". But Tablet was sightly taller & narrower> my tablet measures 4.25 w x 7.25 ht. Shield was ? 5-5.5" w x 7" ht. Did not want the inconvenience in trying to exchange or returning, so I trimmed its' sides to fit. It is still 1/8" short @ top & bottom -not covered by Shield at all, + can't get rid of air 'bubbles on sides, which do not impinge on the actual view screen, so not a viewing prob.

O well. Not perfect, but is good protection. I thought it would work on my new Kindle Fire 5 tablet, was my mistake and it was a great price.
Very well packaged and was a 3 pack. (good for me...I messed up the first trim and used the 2nd Shield...have 1 left ; )

This screen shield was very easy to apply. After cleaning the screen thoroughly and letting it dry I followed the instructions and was able to place the shield perfectly in just a minute. Then I eased any air bubbles out with the piece provided in the kit. There were a few tiny bubbles left but those disappeared quickly on their own.

Fingerprints still show up on the screen but they are easily wiped away; I use a microfiber cloth that can be used for eyeglasses so it won't leave any lint. Even when it does have fingerprints you cannot see them when the Kindle is in use.

This kit is an especially good value because it comes with extra shields that you can set aside for future use.

I would recommend this kit for anyone.
