It took another person and myself about 4.5 hours to install this shed on a level surface. Make sure you have a level surface to begin with or you can get pretty far into the construction of the shed before you realize that the whole thing won't come together correctly. The construction of my level surface/foundation took much more time than the shed and was quite a pain. The basic construction consists of snapping pieces to the floor and to each other and building upwards. Screwing plastic pieces and bolting metal pieces together consist of the rest. I think the shed really requires two people to avoid several steps that would otherwise cause great frustration. If both of you are shorter than 6', then for the roof I would recommend two ladders or have something to climb on near the shed like a fence. There were a couple problems I had with my shed that resulted in the 4-star rating. Firstly, there are two sets of wall pieces that come together that need to fit nicely together to be flush with each other and reduce gaps with the floor. One wall pieces are damaged and bent in so that I had to use a screwdriver to pry back the piece to get them together. The other side of the wall piece must have been warped because there was no visible damage, but the pieces would not come together no matter how hard I tried. It still worked out in the end, but it did worry me that the plastic pieces may change shape in transit. Secondly, I had trouble with the metal pieces that are required to make the truss that holds the roof pieces across the middle of the shed. There is a step where three metal pieces need to be threaded with one bolt to hold them together. The holes were pretty far off and required me to drill out some of the metal to get the bolt through all three pieces.

My sister and I, who are both in our mid-60s put this together in about four hours. Since we are both under 5'3', the roof was a bit of a challenge, but quite doable. The only problem I had is that one side panel "B" was missing and I had to wait over two weeks for the replacement from rubbermaid. Their customer service was courteous and helpful. I think part of the problem with getting the missing part in a timely fashion was that I had requested it on December 15 and both Rubbermaid and Old Dominion Shipping Company take a Christmas break. This shed seems sturdy. The step-by-step instructions were excellent and all screw holes, etc...were perfectly lined up. It may not be necessary, but I plan to run a silicone bead in all the seams.

My best friend and I (two women of a certain age) put this puppy together in one and a half hours. Granted, I had built the floor and done all the prep work (skylights, windows, door stabilization, the roof rafter) the day before (another hour or so.) Went together like Legos or the old Erector sets -- and cute as can be done. Honestly, the hardest part was peeling the paper off the door windows. It's straightforward and oh so easy. Does take two, as the instructions clearly state, but no need for special skills other than reading and following the very clear directions. Excellent youtube videos also show how easy it is. I do plan to stabilize it with some angle bracing, just because we live in an area of high winds.

Once you have a hard floor under it then it goes up easy. But you need a 100% level surface. Update if it’s windy the doors will blow off. That’s the only issue I have.

Update: The New Mexico wind destroyed the whole shed. Blew it clean apart.

Shed is okay if you put it up next to something like a house. Mine was stand alone next to a carport and a big hail/ windstorm blew it to Kansas. Most of the panels are okay, but I’m going to wood frame it on the inside and screw the panels to the frame. The wind loves to pop the plastic clips that hold the panels together so if you are in a windy area find a more sheltered spot for the shed.

Overall the shed is nice. Was delivered on time. The problem are the doors. There is no clearance between the top gable side and the floor for the doors to open without difficulty and forcing it to swing out. I have to trim the plastic on the top and bottom of the doors and cut with a hacksaw 1/8 inch of the metal sleeve of the left door just to open the doors. The door parts are made of plastic resin which expand on direct sunlight and contract depending on the temperature causing the doors to jammed. The doors have to be made at least 1/8 inch shorter to have enough clearance.

It's great. The only thing that bothered me was the delivery company wanted to just leave it at the curb. I managed to talk him into placing it behind our fence but I couldn't believe they wanted to leave it at the curb with us having no way to move it out of site. My husband is handicapped and I'm on disability so us carrying it was not going to be a possibility. Luckily with a tip they unloaded it in our backyard we have double gates and it was not a problem next time I will specifically request it. Other than that the shed is great wasn't hard to put together, very sturdy.

It is a nice little shed. Easy to put together, about 4 hours the girlfriend and I, site work not included. as others have stated " get your site level". We put it on a packed dirt/gravel base. I would at least put it on treated lumber pallet, easier to level the entire structure and to get the doors correct. Since we did not we are having some problems keeping the doors fitting as we add weight to the inside. Do your prep correctly and you will love it.
