The Toshiba Canvio Slim II is a small and stylish external hard drive that get the job done with great speeds. I've had mine for about 3 months and I constantly use it to store my iTunes Library to free up space on my MacBook Pro's HDD and store photo's I've taken with a DSLR and edited with Lightroom. Setting up a library for iTunes and Lightroom is extremely easy and I'll provide an instruction to both at the end of the review.
Pros:

Cons:
The USB cable included is specific to the external hard drive and fairly short (about 14 in.)
There's still one big factor to keep in mind and that's reliability during an extended amount of time. I've only had mine for two months and I'm very happy with my purchase but according to other reviews this is a solid external drive ideal for handling media such as music, movies and photos.
