My old computer bag finally bit the dust. It was a Samsonite ballistic nylon rolling bag that served me well for a number of years, but this time around I was looking to upgrade to a nicer, all leather bag.
I needed a bag that was large enough to carry my laptop, Ipad, phone, power and charging cables, a few files, etc, but no so large that it looked like a suitcase. I wanted a bag that looked good, but was also functional. I wanted a bag that would hold up for the long term and not fall apart after a year or two. I wanted to spend under $500. I did ALOT of research. I looked at high end bags, low end bags, and everything in between. This Tumi bag meets all of my needs, including great price here at Amazon (nobody else discounts Tumi).
The description tells you pretty much everything you need to know about the bag as far as pockets, compartments, etc. I will only add that the included cable organizer/holder is a nice touch. Usually I would throw in my cords and cables and they would be loose in the bag. The holder that comes with this bag is the perfect size.......large enough to hold my laptop power cable, as well as 1 or 2 other device chargers (Ipad, Iphone, Kindle, etc).
Obviously I can't comment on the durability since I just got it last week, but I've had other Tumi products, and they tend to be very long lasting. I expect nothing less from this bag.
Overall, I highly recommend this bag.
