    DO NOT INSTALL DRIVERS!!!!!!!!!!!
IF I were you, consumer, I would head to the most popular comments section in this thing and look at what S1N1C has to say, because it will save you frustration and a product from being thrown out a window... ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE WINDOWS 8-8.1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WARNING!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT FREAKIN INSTALL the asus drivers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will crash constantly!!!This is GREAT hardware but really crappy software indefinitely.... Hence why I gave 4 stars instead of 5, GREAT product and I am seeing super fast speeds, but no thanks on the bloatware asus you almost ruined my computer. Thankfully I had restore available enough to reboot it back. You will get blue screen of death if you install the bloatware asus includes... any time you lose signal, disable device, unplug it, you will crash with an OS failure. I have windows 8.1 x64 and the drivers crash ALL windows 8+ OS's so idk how people claim to be on windows 8.1 and run this perfectly, my system is literally 100% up to date on all updates across the board....Asus literally punched the pooch on their software for this product and they have yet to TRY and fix their crappy mistake, their latest update for this was like 9 months ago or something, do yourself a favor and just follow the instructions S1N1C said at the top comments section. Manuall install the drivers in device manager. From Enimax's website.but anyways I am getting 520~800+ bandwidth now on 11 AC, on an ASUS 68U router... I am running on 70% transmission power for 5Ghz, and im at least a good 50 feet away outside of a 5 bedroom house... Enjoying the sunshine melting the snow from previous weather. It's pretty nice out and im enjoying writing this comment while out here.Hope this helps someone, don't do what I did and waste an hour of your life.............................. And possibly everything on your hard drive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super fast, easy to setup (Win10), great product
Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2017
My house is two stories. My router lives on the 2nd floor in the middle of the house. My previous set up yielded me around 5Mbps down and up which is atrocious and led me to look into this product.

My setup is Windows 10. As others have mentioned, and ASUS states on their website, this is plug and play on Win 10. That's it.

My speeds jumped from 5Mbps Down/Up to 83 down and 26 up! I have 75/75 internet so the up isn't amazing, but this is a remarkable improvement over my last adapter (motherboard integrated).

I like that the adapter is able to be moved around via the USB cable and is the main reason why I didn't get the PCI-E version.

Connection seems pretty stable so far. I did have a couple drop outs on 5GHZ but they could have been flukes as most days I don't have a single drop.

The range also seems very good. My previous adapter only got me around 2/4 WiFi bars. This stays usually around 4/4.

Overall, I can't really find any fault. Easy to use, fast, and adaptable. I guess it's a little pricey.
