this Beecellent external sound card is a bit confusing, at first i couldn't understand how to work it really, i plugged it into my laptop and sat here trying to figure it out. I thought it was a speaker the way it looked however it is not a speaker it is a usb stereo sound card hub where if you do not have a great sounding sound card this would be ideal. it has not only surround sound but places for you to plug in your wireless mouse, headset that has a mic, a normal set of headphones, and an additional microphone if needed, comes with two USB slots so you get an additional two slots for the one you lose plugging this in, however i do have to warn you one simple thing, i turned mine up all the way and the bass and tremble on it was so great that my ears were ringing, so be careful with the sound! Do not put your laptop on full blast or you may end up going deaf! A great idea for those who can not hear on a pc or laptop!

The headphone jack on my computer is in an awkward spot under the monitor, and it's not a very tight fit either for some reason, which defeats the purpose of using headphones because they sometimes disconnect themselves and sound blasts out of the computer..

This provides a very secure, tight fit - it was tinny sounding at first, but I fiddled with the sound settings on my computer and now it sounds decent. Not stereo quality, but great for youtube videos and whatnot.

Con: My experience with this has shown the mic port makes me sound extremely quiet.

I got this so I could use a certain headset with it. (Iphone headset utilizing a 2jack input(mic)/output(sound) separated-end type adapter). And as a result of the response I got from the Mic port, the people listening to me said I sound incredibly quiet. Maxed out everything I can. I tried different available mics at my disposal. All where I am perceived to be extremely quiet, nearly inaudible. There isnt any directions to help me or software. So dont know how to fix this if I can. Other then this the USB, sound ports work as intended.

Laptops usually have combo jacks on the side. (3.5mm jack that doubles as a headphone and microphone input)
As you could imagine, this causes issues with getting certain microphones/headphones to work properly. Not only does this fix the issue by sending it through the USB instead, but it also eliminates the line noise you get from using an analog connection.
This one in particular, is better than other USB sound cards IMO because it adds 2 more USB inputs. (minus the one it takes up by being plugged in)

So it technically works but that's where the good news stops.

I had a smaller and what I thought was worse USB soundcard. Turns out I was completely wrong.

I wanted to use this for PC gaming. MOBAs, FPS, RPG, and Survival. I play them all. All the sound that this thing outputs is very very tinny.It's like a Treble addict designed this. There is absolutely NO BASS to speak of with this. It's terrible.Especially for gaming. Guns and explosions don't sound right at all. I mean it's not even close. It's not even a *shrug* I can deal with this kind of item.

There are no drivers included and the company doesn't have a website. I don't understand this product. It's not for gamers, it's not for audiophiles, and it's not for anyone but Grandma and Grandpa who wouldn't know the difference.

1 star for actually working. If there were drivers i'd give it 2. If there was Bass in the audio i'd give it 3. If the non-existent driver set was pretty good then i'd give it 4. If the thing blew me away then i'd give it 5.

This is a 1-star review because this is really a huge disappointment in a soundcard.

I bought a sound adapter that was advertised as a soundcard. Truly very very disappointed in this product.

(Edit: To Pecham's credit, they attempted to reconcile my issues by sending me a replacement device, but it had the same problem as described below)
I purchased this product because the page description claims that it works with the Xbox One. There was also a video review from Pecham (the seller) that made this claim. This product does not work for the Xbox One. Just to be clear, I'm a "techie", so I'm familiar with how to adjust the settings in order to get the desired result from a technical product but I had no luck with this device. I was able to get this device to work with my laptop however, so I know I didn't just receive a faulty product. Please do not purchase this as an alternative to getting a headset adapter for your Xbox One, this product does not work for the Xbox One, just get a headset adapter. It's also worth noting that the included device manual says nothing about it working with the Xbox One, it only states that it works with various Windows operating systems.

Windows detected fine so no driver needed. Just had to change device settings to DVD quality so the sound is decent. Also tried it with device pass-through on a Linux KVM multi-gpu setup and it worked great.
