High-Power, Built-In AC Electric Pump

The built-in pump makes inflation and deflation simple. At full power, the airbed inflates in under 5 minutes. The pump plugs into any standard 110-120V home outlet and can be turned on with just the touch of a button for maximum convenience. However, if you want to use the bed for travel, a separate pump can also be used to inflate the bed; simply insert the nozzle of your separate pump into the center of the inflation dial while it is set to inflate, and begin inflating.

Product Description

The Comfort Plush Elevated Airbed is a part of the Dura-Beam series of airbeds that are providing amazing durability for years of lasting comfort. The secret is in the Fiber-Tech beam construction, which is comprised of thousands of high-strength polyester fibers that provide enhanced comfort, stability and support. Each bed is covered in plush flocking that is soft to the touch, and the horizontal air chambers provide added stability and support around the entire bed. The mattress is also equipped with a quality-tested, 20.8-gauge waterproof flocked top with 15-gauge vinyl beams and 16-gauge sides and bottom for durability. And best of all, the Comfort Plush mattress is remarkably easy to inflate thanks to the built-in, high-powered electric pump, which does its job in a mere 3-1/2 minutes. No more fussing with tiring hand or foot pumps or rummaging through the garage for your detached electric pump. And should the mattress feel a little too soft or firm, you can customize the comfort level with the touch of a button.
The Comfort Plush is raised 18 inches from the floor, making it far taller than most inflatable mattresses. And at 60 by 18 by 80 inches (W x H x L), the mattress is an official queen size, making it a good fit for fitted sheets. The Comfort Plush Queen bed--which offers a capacity of 600 pounds--is a terrific choice whether you're sleeping at the in-law's overcrowded house or setting up a guest bed in the basement. The mattress comes with an AC power cord and a duffel bag (for storage).

Customers are mixed about the quality of the air mattress. Some mention it's well made and holds up very well, while others say it'll only last a year with about 30 nights sleep. The build in pump is really good and the suede is really nice. That said, some say it is a little unstable and tends to rock a bit. It's not as sturdy or heavy weight so when they sit on the edge it starts to tip over. The mattress is much firmer than most beds and can be different for those used to a plush bed.

I've bought Intex products in the past and they've never really let me down. If they did, I always chalked it up to being inexpensive and never really griped about. BUT, this purchase REALLY pissed me off.I'll start with the Pros...1. The built in pump is very convenient. I've never had this feature in my previous mattresses and not sure how I'd ever not have it again. I had extra outlets in the tent and had it constantly plugged in. Only a twist of a dial it kicked on and filled the mattress quick!2. The height (for camping purposes) was perfect. I could sit on the edge and feel like I'm sitting on a chair with 90 degree leg bend. A smaller tent might feel the squeeze of this large mattress due to the angling of the tent and height of the mattress.3. The extra edge support (on this particular model) I believe was very helpful. It did seem to give more outward space on the mattress before the sloping and rolling off the mattress began.4. It was relatively inexpensive compared to the other higher branded inflatable mattresses. And now for the Cons...1. Staying inflated! I bought this mattress a few weeks before my camping trip. I inflated it and used it for a few nights in a backyard experience with the kids before our big camp trip. Within those days, it inflated and felt a little deflated by morning. The instructions alerts buyers that this will be the case as the rubber gets broken into and stretches. Not a big deal, twist of the knob and the built in air pump fills it back up in about 10-15 seconds! So for that weekend, it worked great! The week of our camp excursion we were not so lucky. The mattress inflated, nice and firm, went to bed but in the morning we were like meat in a taco shell. The mattress was more than 50% deflated and we were crammed together and the sides enclosed on us. I'd fill it up, 2-5 times a day (depending on how often we sat on it) but each night it was very painful.2. The box the mattress came in was compact and perfect for transporting. The bag they give you is HUGE! you could just cram the mattress in the bag without any neat folding or skill. Took up way too much room so I took a few extra minutes to neatly fold and suck the air out of the mattress to get it back into the original box. I returned the mattress but not sure how long the box would have held up to that kind of packing each use.3. No patch kits provided! My friend who also brought his family on this camp trip and bought a similar intex mattress (cheaper version) came with patches, but the one I bought (more expensive) didn't! To be honest, being the first few times using the mattress, I would have returned the item regardless of patch kit or not but long term, I would have love to have that kind of kit.4. Before buying via Amazon, I was going to buy the mattress at a local retail store (walmart/target/meijer/etc.) however ALL of them will NOT return used inflatable mattresses, not even exchange! They have a sign/notice right in front of them that says you have to contact manufacture after purchase. I'm glad I didn't take the chance by buying there because I hear Intex has horrible customer service!Well, take it for what it is, but these are my experiences and thoughts on the item. Wasn't ideal to have a faulty mattress during our trip but I would probably give Intex other tries in the future. Their price is just unbeatable!
