Either mine was cherry picked or....
After reading the reviews, with the 1* reviews being what I saw almost exclusively until I clicked on see all reviews, I decided I should add my experience with the cooler in action for just over one full year. I built this system last February (2018) and not too much has changed on this build that wasn't cosmetic or a peripheral. I upgraded from a Strix 1080 to a Strix 2080(OC Edition), modded my s340 elite to allow push/pull on the radiator and installed Corsair HD fans on the back of the rad and on the case, added a 2TB HDD, and finally a Noctua 40mm fan for the VRM heatsinks. With TG Kyronaut on the CPU and running long enough for coolant temps to stabilize, the only time I ever hit 80c or above was during some extensive stress testing trying to test the coolers capabilities, OC stability, and my cases thermal characteristics. Otherwise I idle around 26-30c and under gaming load Typical temps are 55-62c with some games like AC Odyssey pushing into the high 60's low 70s. Those temps are from cooling an OC'd to 5.1GHz 8700k @ 1.390v with all fans at 75% fixed. I've never had a complaint with the pump being loud or unreliable, the stock fans on this cooler though are really darn loud in my opinion. I can ramp up my GPU and All 4 (3x 120mm, 1x 140mm) corsair HD fans first and its still immediately obvious when I open iCue and ramp the stock fans up too. However, I understand that fan noise is one of the minor prices to pay when overclocking. I will agree that iCue and Link are as awful to use and unstable as Asus's software, but its manageable. So to sum up, for what I paid I am very happy with my temps and the coolers overall performance during this first year of usage cooling an OC'd 8700k, while crammed in an s340 elite with an overclocked AIB RTX card. The stock fans could used replaced with something thats quieter and pushes a little more but its not at all a vital upgrade. Replace the stock thermal compound with a quality one such as Noctuas compound or TG Kryonaut, and you'll have the aesthetics and bragging rights of liquid cooling, as well as better temps in your rig for not much more money than a high end air cooler. Based on my experience alone, I would recommend this product. It's unfortunate to hear so many are having issues with theirs as that has not been the case for me.NOTE: The push/pull mod didn't net me the improvements I figured it would, only around 5c average lower temps at load since the addition. No difference in idle temps. However depending on your setup, it could improve your temps much better than it did mine. I'm still happy I did it, just don't want people thinking its a huge key to why I've had good luck with this cooler. I only did the mod a month and a half ago anyways, before that its been just the stock fans on the cooler.

Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2016
I generally like to get the most out of the things I use, especially the products I use the most during my usual day. A good majority of the computers I have used throughout the years have used a single method of cooling; fans. I’ve noticed that most computers run relatively warmly, which is to be expected, especially with AMD brand processors. All computers have this problem, especially if they get too hot, they begin having issues due to them overheating. However, a full liquid cooled computer would be too expensive, so it would require something affordable and gives you that bang for your buck so to speak.
I’ve used stock cooling equipment before in computers for quite a while, and I needed something to help bring my performance up and make my processor more efficient. I had come across another method of cooling, AIO Liquid coolers. A cheaper method of cooling for sure, and without all the hassle of pouring liquid and checking for leaks every fifteen minutes. It sure would be an effective and cheap method to help squeeze a little more performance out of your CPU.
    PRICE
Now most coolers of this type are generally around the $80-$140 range and are quite affordable compared to the price of a more typical water-cooled setup you’d see in more enthusiast grade builds. Even if you’re new to computer building or if you’re more experienced, something in a high price range would cause you to shy away from that product. I believe price is the most important when it comes to buying computer parts. Something on the cheap end might break or ware out in a short time, while something more expensive will end up not achieving a good price to performance ratio. So something in between those ranges could potentially be your best bet.
    INSTALLATION
Installing shouldn’t be too much of an issue, especially if you haven’t installed an AIO Water Cooler before. This particular unit features a dual 240mm radiator and is a little tedious to install. Two hands might seem enough, however computer cases vary and some have more room than others, so installation varies. In my particular case, installation was frustrating and took longer than I would have liked. The radiator is relatively thin compared to most other Coolers. However it’s to be noted if the fans are installed inside the case, motherboard heatsinks will get in the way of the bottom screws. A angled screw driver is really recommended for that part.

    AESTHETICS
With sleeved tubing and a redesigned radiator pump and radiator, this updated version of the previous h100i helps give this product are much more redefined look. I believe this redesign gives the whole product a more of a sharper look to it, some more personality so to speak. With swappable faceplates and an RGB LED light in the pump that illuminated the Corsair Sails logo and their name, really helps personalize your computer and help fit into its color scheme. It’s probably a best bet to mention that the fittings for the tubing have been relocated to the inside of the cooling block and not on the side as with the previous cooler. This helps to prevent joint breaking and keep the whole thing streamlined and professional.

    PERFORMANCE
Compared to the temperatures of a stock cooler, this one blows it out of the park. With a decrease in temperature from around 60 degrees Celsius to around 20 degrees. It’s a fantastic improvement, one of which I am happy for. Switching to a water cooled component really did improve the computers performance, which had been slow performing during long run times. Although, depending on fan orientation the performance can vary slightly, or even drastically.
    PROS
There are certainly many benefits to using a component of this type. With a larger area of heat dissipation, more heat can be pulled away from the processor. This particular unit comes with a large radiator which helps remove heat out from the case and doesn’t push warm air around on the inside, which further helps decrease ambient temperature. It’s a great fit, especially when it comes to keeping the things you keep precious cool. I’ve found that keeping the radiator at the top of the case and having case fans pull air from the bottom and push the air to the back of the case and then up towards the radiator really helps add for that cooling factor.
    CONS
Unfortunately, as with almost every product, there will most likely be drawbacks to take note of. As mentioned previously, installation can be a bit tricky and frustrating at times. I also have noticed with the time that this cooler has been in use for my current computer, both stock fan bearing did ware out and cause noise when first powered on but they do quiet down after a little while. On another note, tubing is very stiff out of the box and is very hard to maneuver during installation and can make certain radiator positions to be a bit difficult to pull off and may cause breaking on the tubing joints and potentially causing the cooler to leak.

My choice of this particular cooler wasn’t a hard one. I’ve purchased products from Corsair before and I’ve liked their styling and build quality with many of their products. I felt this was the best choice do to its more noticeable redesign of the cooler pump, radiator, and sleeved tubing. These factors really improved the overall look of the system. Now there are other coolers that work exactly the same as this one, however if you’re looking for a more pleasing look, this is probably one to look into as it’s a one of a kind product and not many out there pull off that specific look, especially with the sleeved tubing.

Here's what I got so far:

Crazy easy installation, in fact it was so simple I screwed it up because I expected something far more complex. Works great for X99 processors (seriously). Keeps CPU temperatures far lower than expected considering I'm sporting a Hexa-core 6800K. No overclock here, but I see that there is a TON of headroom. Comes with a pretty good application to allow you to change the LED color and monitor system temperatures. Right now my system sits at:

Motherboard temps: 30.0c, 28c, with motherboard controlled fan at 965~ RPM
CPU: +/- 2c for all cores
    Core 1: 21c
    Core 2: 21c
    Core 3: 21c
    Core 4: 21c
    Core 5: 21c
    Core 6: 21c
    Package (Overall): 28c
At a load of roughly 10-17%
All HDD/SSD are 33c and below, with very little flux
and the video card at 38c, Fan at 0RPM

Ever since closed-loop coolers hit the mainstream market I have been a supporter, this being my third, second in the 240mm range. They have not disappointed. The cable is flexible, the whole thing looks slick and has a low profile despite it's size, just make sure your case is somewhat flexible in how it can receive a 240mm radiator. My case wanted the hoses towards the exhaust fan, but the h100i pops out just a little to much for me to like that, so I flipped it and it sits fine. I also highly recommend the software for it.

Soundwise: It's pretty quiet, honestly can't hear it over the rest of my equipment in the computer (i.e. one particularly noisy hard disk drive).
Heat dissipation: It definitely spits out a ton of heat when I get the computer pumping, internal temperatures stay down, but you can feel all the heat it's spitting out, which is good because that means it's actually doing its job. Compared to my previous computer (Intel i7 2700k/GTX 560) this system doesn't seem to bake the room as bad, but I do notice a temperature increase in the room when I have something very CPU intensive going on. Read that as it is, GPU intensive applications don't draw the heat out nearly as bad as CPU intensive things (I.E. video encoding/transcoding and livestreaming).

Excellent product, used with an I5 8400. I know it’s not really needed as it doesn’t get that hot to begin with but I’ve always preferred the aesthetic and performance of water cooling to air.

Upon first use the pump will be quite noisy. This lasts for about 3-5 days but is normal. The only fault I have is that the software it’s used with, iCue, is a bit buggy and can sometimes cause it to change to its “Hot” colour even if CPU is well below that. It’s a fairly large cooler and be careful when handling as the fins are fragile and can bend easily.

Thermal paste is pre applied. Installation was a bit tough, at one point I felt as if I was going to break my motherboard as I pushed the head onto the screws on the bracket. You’ll hear popping sounds but that’s normal, apply plenty of force. Make sure to secure opposite corners first as this makes installation easier as it spreads out the force over a larger area.

Great cooler for anyone looking to get into water cooling.

Reviewed in Italy on February 22, 2017

The Cooler is much sturdier than I was expecting, which made things a tiny bit difficult to work with, in the case I presently have as my case was a bit on the smaller side (though I intend to change the case ASAP), however it appears to be doing its job sufficiently. So overall I'd say it's a pretty good product.

Though, I can't attest to its longevity as yet. I've only had it a week at the time of this review.
