I thought this computer would be much faster than it actually is. I don't like the placement of the palm rest (not sure if that's the correct name) as it is too far to the left, causing things I have written to be wiped out or sent in error when I rest my palm on the keyboard. In addition, after only a few weeks of use, the sound became distorted. I contacted Amazon who put me in touch with HP and after over an hour, they were able to fix it. That only lasted 1 week and it started again. In addition, the HP rep screwed up the font and everything became pixelated. Took another 45 minutes to fix that. I contacted Amazon and they promptly offered me a refund. I will purchase another, but will look at other models. Amazon was great during the entire process!

This computer seems to be meeting my need at this point. The price was competitive for this s brand laptop. It operates quite a bit faster than the 5 year old PC that I have been using. The screen is sharp although I haven't tried watching movies and I am not a gamer. The 4 stars is because the battery doesn't seem to last very long.
