I have been wearing the same hanes underwear for almost 20 years and now they are very different. They are stitched weird and the sizes are off. You should get a size up and a size down. These underwear are not 100% cotton anymore. if you buy a pack of four you will get at least 1 pair that is 24% polyester. that might not matter to some but I am allergic to polyester! If you want 100% cotton underwear dont buy hanes

Hanes is my favorite brand for cotton panties and these come up to below your belly button because they're hipsters and anyone like me who likes their underwear down lower like that while still being nicely covered up should look into these. They have a wide range of sizes and some nice various colors and patterns but I personally prefer plain white.

They are thin but here in Phoenix in the 110+ summers thin is good--the crotch is doubled and the legs are very comfortably fabric-covered. I have not washed them yet and will add more comments at that time.

I have had other Hanes that fit well, but these were no good. Can't return them after wearing one of the pairs for a day (which fit differently than the other pairs?) Scratchy seem around the legs. The fit over the butt gave me a wedgie every time I moved in them. Not buying Hanes anymore :-(
