    Do not buy these speakers if you care anything about quality sound. I have always been a fan of Pioneer receivers. Mine have been affordable and reliable. However, The two sets of Pioneer Speakers (home and these) I have purchased leave a lot to be desired. I bought these based on name, price and Amazons reviews. I replaced some 13 year old 100 wt Sea worthy sound systems by Pro Spec.(original Stock speakers) in my Sea Ray. One had deteriorated and was telecasting some serious reverb. The posts on the Pioneers were smaller sized. One of which required a 7/64 adapter. Add $11.00 for new wire ends and good luck finding the smaller one! (Overseas mfgrs trick on American cowboy!) The sound coming from these speakers reminded me of something from a child's shoe box! I used every combination of bass, treble, mid-range mix on my receiver to no avail. Honestly, the quality was no better than my old speakers less the reverb. Raspy with little to no sound dynamic. So, 2 stars - 1 bc they worked and the other for no reverb. They will probably be yanked as soon as I find good replacements. Disappointed to say the least!

    Speakers were a great addition to our pontoon boat. We combined these with an 8 inch tube subwoofer for a great sound all around. The speakers alone made a huge improvement over the stock speakers. They fit right into the previous mounting hole, and installed with ease. They do have some low end, but are not super high end speakers. It is my opinion that they work best when combined with a small subwoofer, as their highs are beautiful (and echo across the lake!)

    I mounted these on the stern end of my deck boat. They are mounted on fiberglass enclosures which offered a good speaker box mount. The sound I am receiving is far better than the Pyle speakers they replaced. I am driving these with a 52w/channel Sony Marine stereo. The sound is articulate enough when delivering all the notes, and still has the wide enough spectrum capacity to handle the beefier bass notes without a disagreeable low end grumble of distortion. I gave it 5 because the sound is adequate for the price, the construction is well designed, packaging included all the hardware needed and the covers grip solidly enough to handle all the bouncing around assaults that is in its future.

    Nice clean sound. Due to a sub standard amp there is not much volume, but that is not the speakers fault. They went in easy and look good. Will see how they hold up over time but other marine pioneer speakers I have bought are still going strong after 5 years.
    One issue, The connectors for the wires are unusual size. One slightly smaller than standard and the other a lot smaller. I found crimp on connectors that fit at my local Oriley's car parts store.

    installed these on a bayliner capri with a 2 channel 800 watt boss amp. if you go for a lower rating amp, these will not sound as good (made that mistake on my old boat). these speakers are very loud and sound very clear with very deep bass. one thing though, they DO NOT come with the terminals to connect to them, and they are not standard size. I went to autozone and picked up a pair of gold plated audio terminals, the original ones were larger and would not stay on so had to cut them off and install new ones

    Les haut parleurs dont bien 100W mais 25W RMS ce qui ne correspond pas a l'annonce.
    25 W en plein air , ce n'est pas suffisant hors mis sur un bateau de 6 Mètres ou dans la cabine d'un voilier, sauf si aimer que les aigus et la membrane qui claque en permanence.
    quelle perte de temps , c'est pas correct. Je renvoie tout
