The 2001 PotJ B-Wing
The B-Wing was always one of the cooler and more intimidating looking starfighters in Star Wars. This version is a retool of the 1983 version. While it does lack the electronics of the original version, the repaint and additional details make it one of the best and most sought after releases of the PotJ line. It also includes a unique Sullustan pilot, which is a repaint of Ten Numb from the 1999s PotF2 Rebel Pilots Cinema Scenes multipack. Overall this is an excellent ship.

The seller packaged the figure safely and it arrived in tact and in great condition on time. This is a hard to find Star Wars ship and it looks great. Good details and paint job and a cool figure included

Just having a B wing in your collection feels good. The Power of the Force line of Star Wars vehicles was O.K... If you are collecting you want to aim for the Legacy Collection - also incorrectly coined the "clone wars" line due to the clone troopers on the boxes. The B-Wing was not available in the Legacy collection but became available more recently in the nostalgic re-boxed "Vintage" line. Both PotF and Vintage bombers are identical molds, exactly the same weight and dimensions. However the paint schemes and interior cockpits are different. The PotF B wing is more weathered looking, and the cockpit is (sadly) decaled rather than painted with detailed molded panels. From a distance you can't tell and otherwise they are identical, both have the rotating cockpit and the wings fold to their iconic T-shape by spinning an engine in the back. The Vintage line also comes with interchangeable wing mounted blasters, one allowing you to fire a spring powered projectile and the other being much more screen accurate, this B wing only comes with the *more* screen accurate wing blasters. Collectors will likely store the firing blasters in favor of the screen accurate look anyway, so you may not care about the extra mounts. The one thing the PotF B wing has over the newer Vintage B Wing is the screen accurate B wing pilot in canon flight suit. It's the only way to my knowledge to acquire a bona fide B wing pilot. Otherwise you'll be stuck trying to shove Wedge Antilles or Biggs in the more recognized orange flight suit in the cockpit, which due to its tiny size won't be fun. This B wing loses a star for the cockpit detail loss simply because this collector hates stickers on toys. However having a real B wing pilot in the cockpit as opposed to an X wing pilot is epic for the dedicated dork. Hope this review helps you make a decision as to which B wing you want.

I just got this in really good condition, The detail on the ship is extremely done very well it looks weathered and in addition the box window makes it a good display. This is definitely on the collectors list, this release is way better than the Kenner classic collectors Kmart box release.

Other than the original B-Wing that was released during the Return Of The Jedi, the newer B-Wings feature the same mold. This is a nice detailed piece whether you are displaying it or playing with it.
