Sharp, well built watch! Great value.
This purchase was my first foray into watches that were worth a darn. And I couldn't be happier. The watch is very easy to set up and use. Fits comfortably on my wrist. It is absolutely stunning, as well. Fitting for professional and casual settings. The watch face is easy to read directly in the sun, even with it's silver face. Keeps time dead on. Nothing much I can complain about. Super glad I bought this watch.*Update 1 year after purchase*Watch runs about -2 seconds a day, as it did when I first received it. Sapphire crystal has held up against some bumps here and there, with zero scratches on the face. Still love wearing it. You're getting some great value here!

This is a really nice watch if you get it for the right price. The price fluctuates on Amazon but it can be found for around $250...which for a mechanical watch from a company known for making quality watches is a steal. This is a discontinued model that originally had an msrp of $795. The movement is regarded as being well built. When looking at the face and the back side of the watch it looks like it's very high quality. I am impressed! Where I notice the biggest difference between this one and one that costs considerably more is the quality of the bracelet. The band and clasp just feel on the cheap side. The pins come out very easy so its easy to resize yourself though. I am very satisfied with the watch given it's price point. And I don't think I'd feel as sick if I were to knock it around a little as I would if I spent a lot more on it. Nice that it has a sapphire crystal. It's my new favorite.

This is a nice, heavy automatic watch made completely in Switzerland. For the price, I think it's tough to beat. I've noticed the price fluctuate somewhat over the last couple weeks, but I purchased at $250. It's a little too big to be a dress watch but it's fairly versatile. I replaced the metal bracelet (perfectly nice and well suited for the watch) with a tan leather strap, and in that configuration it's a nice, casual daily wearer.

For my taste, the face and the raised arabic numbers are both a little too large, but this is highly subjective. The face, which is definitely a light silver but appears to be pearl or off-white in some light is quite striking, and the steel blue second hand is really cool.

I'd rather have a Tissot, a high end Seiko, or a vintage Omega, but none of those watches can be had for anywhere near the price Amazon is offering on this watch right now. It looks and feels like a quality timepiece and I can easily see it being passed on to my son one day. I don't think this is a watch that will appreciate in value in any meaningful way, but for me at least, that isn't really the point.

I really like this watch. the size is just right, it is comfortable to wear and it looks great. There are two small negatives. The clasp comes undone on it's own quite often each day, and the watch stops after approx 23 hours of non-use. I bought a watch winder to solve the second issue. Not perfect but I still wear it to work 5 days a week.

UPDATE: watch quit working 4 months after purchasing. It won't run any longer.

Watch was fine but the wristband kept opening up - poorly designed.

The watch looks amazing, has an elegant dial. it was shipped and delivered in one day as claimed. The reason i give three stars is that there was no invoice and warranty/guarantee card in the package. while buying i mentioned this as gift and provided the gift message as well. but the package didnt have anything but the watch. this is not expected from amazon and i am a bit worried about the after sales service due to the absence of invoice document.

I was a little concerned about the contrast of the numbers, but the photos do not do the watch justice. The numbers are clear & easy to read. The blue second hand is a nice touch. It is a mechanical wonder that lets you see in through the crystal on the back side. Considering that much more expensive watches share the same movements (guts) from ETA, this is a great value. I also verified with Victorinox that the watch is genuine. I am very pleased. I would recommend it.

got the "wow-thats a nice watch" from the jeweler when i had this one fitted. no point on wasting money on a cheaper watch that will need to be returned. had s divemaster 500 that i got from BP as a christmas gift that was stolen. went with the same company-once you get used to swiss army its hard to go back. solid feel-beautiful watch with excellent lume-and yes its real-jeweler threw that one in for free. awesome bargain-thx again amazon!
update
2 years since ive had this watch and still not one scratch on the face. keeps great time. no problem with the band. its a "grey market" watch-that's why its so cheap here. I bought it at 370 and the price just keeps going up. automatic watches keep their value over battery watches.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ottimo e consigliato orologio automatico svizzero per tutti e per ogni occasione

-Movimento Eta 2824
-cassa in 3 parti in acciaio inox
-Vetro zaffiro
-diametro cassa senza corona e senza alette proteggi corona: 40mm
-altezza cassa: 10,5mm
